The Faculty of Nursing and Health Sciences at Notre Dame University-Louaize (NDU), in collaboration with the Municipality of Zouk Mosbeh and Fattal Group, is pleased to invite the community to an awareness event entitled “Diabetes and the Importance of Early Detection.”
This activity is part of a series of initiatives organized in observance of Diabetes Awareness Month. It aims to promote the adoption of a healthy lifestyle that contributes to the prevention of diabetes and the effective management of the condition.
The event will take place on Saturday, November 29, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Municipality of Zouk Mosbeh.
The program will include:
- A presentation on “Diabetes and Wellbeing” (Diabetes and Wellbeing)
- Educational sessions delivered by physicians and members of the academic community
- Free screenings to measure blood glucose and blood pressure levels, with results properly recorded
- Medical consultations for participants whose results indicate elevated readings
- A healthy breakfast offered at the conclusion of the event
Through this activity, the Faculty of Nursing and Health Sciences emphasizes its ongoing commitment to community service, health promotion, and preventive care, fostering awareness and empowering individuals to make informed decisions about their health.
