Program Overview
This AI and self-driving cars summer program in Lebanon offers high school students a unique opportunity to dive into the fields of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Robotics through hands-on projects in NDU’s advanced ECCE Labs. Participants will work in teams to design and build a self-driving car, while attending lectures and experimental demonstrations led by faculty members.
Additionally, guest speakers who are experts in AI and robotics will share valuable insights into the latest technological advancements, AI applications, and career opportunities in the field. This program is an excellent opportunity to study AI in Lebanon, understand the basics of machine learning, and get a glimpse into the future of self-driving technology and robotics.

Participants
- Open to high school students (Grades 10 and 11)
- Priority will be given to students with high academic performance
- Maximum of six (6) students per school
Outcomes for Participants
By the end of the program, participants will:
- Gain hands-on experience in Electrical and Computer Engineering through engaging projects.
- Develop problem-solving and teamwork skills while working in a STEM-focused environment.
- Learn AI techniques and applications relevant to self-driving technology.
- Understand the fundamentals of Arduino microcontroller programming.
- Design, assemble, and test a self-driving car.
- Explore potential career paths in AI, robotics, and engineering fields.
- Improve their communication, collaboration, and presentations skills.
Trainer Profiles
- Dr. Elias Nassar is a Professor of Electrical, Computer, and Communication Engineering at Notre Dame University-Louaize, Lebanon.
- Aline Siranossian is an AI and Robotics Specialist at Notre Dame University-Louaize, Lebanon.
Certificate of Attendance
All participants will be awarded a Certificate of Attendance on the final day of the program, distributed by the Faculty of Engineering.

Total Cost: USD 150.
