Program Overview

This architecture and interior design program in Lebanon is designed to introduce high school students (Grades 10-12) to the world of design and architecture. Through hands-on workshops, participants will explore essential design methodologies, develop both artistic and technical skills, and gain valuable insights into the architectural and interior design professions.

The program offers students the opportunity to study architecture and interior design in Lebanon, providing a deeper understanding of the profession while encouraging creative thinking and practical problem-solving. Whether you’re passionate about architecture or interior design, this program will help you unlock your potential and pave the way for future studies in the field. 

 

Day
Activity
Day 1 Design Thinking: Participants will explore the process of design thinking, a structured problem-solving approach used by designers and architects to create innovative, user-centered solutions. They will learn how to empathize with users, define problems, brainstorm ideas, and prototype creative solutions.
Day 2
Sketching and Rendering: The second day will focus on sketching and rendering techniques. Students will develop their skills in freehand drawing and learn how to visually communicate design concepts. They will use both traditional and digital methods to bring their ideas to life.
Day 3
Model Making: On the final day, students will engage in the physical process of model making. They will learn the fundamentals of creating scaled models using various materials, gaining insight into how architects refine and communicate their designs through physical representations.

  • Open to high school students (Grades 10, 11, and 12)

  • Hands-on experience with fundamental design and architectural concepts.

Trainer Profiles

  • All trainers are full-time and part-time faculty members from the Ramez G. Chagoury Faculty of Architecture, Arts, and Design.

 

Certificate of Attendance

All participants will be awarded a Certificate of Attendance on the final day of the program, distributed by the Ramez G. Chagoury Faculty of Architecture, Arts, and Design.
