Program Overview  

The Professional Diploma in Municipal Studies at Notre Dame University-Louaize (NDU), funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) through the Community Support Program in Lebanon (CSP), equips participants with the tools to revolutionize local governance.

Offered in coordination with the Ministry of Interior and Municipalities, this program empowers professionals with advanced knowledge and practical skills to drive meaningful change in municipal management. Participants will gain exclusive access to state-of-the-art resources and training materials, developed with USAID funding through its initiatives in Lebanon, and accessible via NDU’s e-library.

 

 

Modules

Module 1: The Constitutional, legal, and organizational frameworks of municipal work
Module 2: Governance and management
Module 3: Financial management, budget preparation, and public procurement 
Module 4: Strategic planning, funding, and donor relations
Module 5: Additional topics relevant to municipal work 

 

Cost

Participants enrolling in the program in January 2025 will benefit from a reduced fee of USD 200, down from the original USD 900, thanks to the support of USAID.
