Professional Practice and Marketing - FTP 423

Students will be exposed to the professional aspects of fashion design, including inventory management, decision-making, planning, licensing, and strategies to enhance market strength. Learning is facilitated through daily journaling, written reports, and a presentation of their internship experience. As part of the course, students also develop a mock fashion brand, covering market research, brand identity, and the visual and physical concept of a retail store. Prerequisites: FTP 415, FTP 329.
