Instrumental Analysis - CHM 440

Covers theory, practice and applications of modern analytical instrumentation: different aspects of instrumental analysis in areas of separation sciences and spectroscopy. Introduces instrumental methods of analysis, including gas and liquid chromatography; atomic, ultraviolet/visible, infrared, and fluorescence spectroscopy; nuclear techniques; and electro-chemical methods. The use and the interpretation of data from these instruments will be practiced in the laboratory. Prerequisite: CHM 215.
