This course provides knowledge and appreciation of the major alcoholic beverage from cultural background to production, evaluation purchasing, storing, and service etiquette. Wine, whisky, arak, beer, and spirits are emphasized. A further introduction to coffee, tea and non-alcoholic beverages is provided. Evaluation by tasting is an integral part of the course.
