Hospitality and Tourism Strategic Management - HTM 459

This capstone course in tourism, hospitality and events management (THE) aims to make students think holistically, about key issues facing the industry. It features the contextual integration and application of strategic reasoning into decision making. Focus is on adopting the standpoint of hospitality professionals in addressing strategic challenges and opportunities using a resource-based perspective to contextually exploit stakeholders’ relationships in order to achieve nimble competitive strategic advantages.
Prerequisite: Senior standing.
