This course covers the industrial production of ceramics, glass and cement. Description includes history and main technics of production of ceramics glass and cement, processing of powders, furnace technology, refractories ceramics, physico-chemical features of materials, high-temperature behavior, energy management and environmental impact, quality control, composites with a glass or ceramic matrix. Prerequisites: CHE 350, CHE 430.
