Lighting for Film - AVF 437

This course focuses on the operation of camera, lighting, and grip equipment as applied to various film forms—including narrative, documentary, and experimental—as well as different genres and styles. Students will participate in both in-class and out-of-class group filming exercises. Film screenings and field trips will complement lectures, demonstrations, and class discussions. Prerequisite: AVF 226
