• Shankaboot
  Screening everyday from 2:00 to 9:00 pm. Watch out for the Shankaboot actors who will be visiting the space!
  "Launched in March 2010, “Shankaboot” is the world's first Arabic language web series. In April 2011 it was awarded the International Digital Emmy® Award. This is the first time that a Lebanese production has won the prestigious accolade.
  Shankaboot combines witty social observations with an edgy shooting style and naturalistic acting. The gripping storylines capture the mood and spirit of Beirut. The heroes of “Shankaboot” are ordinary people who are confronted by familiar dilemmas. Their efforts to overcome these challenges have struck a chord with young audiences across the Arab world.
  Over the past 12 months, “Shankaboot” has gone from strength to strength. The website www.shankaboot.com attracts up to 3,000 hits a day whilst YouTube episodes have been viewed more than 800,000 times. “Shankaboot” currently has nearly 24,000 fans on Facebook and enjoys a strong following in countries such as Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and the US."
