2010 MENA Scholarship for NDU Alumni

The MENA Scholarship Programme is initiated and fully funded by the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This Ministry has contracted Nuffic, the Netherlands organization for International Cooperation in Higher Education to administer the MENA Scholarship Programme. It aims to contribute to capacity building within organizations and institutions in the six Arabic selected countries, among which is Lebanon.
Any NDU Alumni mid-career professional – aged between 30 and 45 years - who fits the requirements can apply for a scholarship for one of the courses on offer. These courses offer an interesting opportunity to benefit from the extensive expertise within the following Dutch institutes of higher education: Wageningen University & Wageningen International; Maastricht School of Management; UNESCO – IHE Institute for Water Education (Delft); International Institute for Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation.
Once admitted, the MENA Scholarship Program offers a full scholarship which includes:
- Monthly stipends for living.
- Housing and pocket money.
- International and national transportation fares.
- Compulsory insurance premiums.
- Book and research allowances for the scholarship holders.
- Tuition fees for the host institutions.
- Administration fees.
