On June 1, 2010, the Public Relations class (Group 2) invited the famous Lebanese actor Mr.Talal Al-Jurdy to the NDU Shouf Campus. The guest first visited with the director of NDU-SC, Father Boutros Bou Nassif. The event was to take place at 12:30 pm in the Conference Room where students, faculty members, staff and guests were all gathered to welcome Mr.  Al Jurdy and encourage the Public Relations students in their event.

The event began with the Lebanese national anthem. Then three of the PR students, Nancy Riman, Noura Sareiddine, and Reeda Hamedeh, took the responsibility of interviewing the guest to find out everything about his latest plans, activities and future career moves. Moreover, the PR students had lots of surprises ready for their guest: they were able to bring some of Mr.Talal Al-Jurdy’s personal items; moreover, they stunned him and the audience with the presence of his mother, father and sister.

Dr. Khaled Fakih played a significant role in introducing the guest and helping his students to achieve their goal and have a successful event. A long session of Q&A made it possible for every NDU-SC student to leave no stone unturned regarding the guest’s life and career.

This event ended at 1:30 pm, but not before the entire PR class had the chance to take memorable photos with Mr. Talal Al Jurdy.
