NORTH LEBANON CAMPUS EVENT


On Friday November 18th a seminar on "The youth and the problematic of Faith" organised in cooperation with Rotary club of Tripoli occurred in NDU Barsa
Representing the Prime Minister Mikati MP Minister Ahmad Karame fostered on the importance of faith in creating better citizens oriented to the well-being of the society.
Mr. Suheil Matar, VPCPR, on behalf of President Walid Moussa noted that the University should tackle such sensible issues being a part and a mirror of the society. Mr. Edgar Merheb-Harb, PR north campus, gave an emphasis on the role of the University in being the echo of its surroundings followed by Director Father Samir Ghsoub who delivered a warm welcoming speech and Rotary president Mohamad Majzoub who thanked NDU for being always a pioneer in raising issues of main importance for the community.
Panellists were Bishop Georges Abou Jaoudeh, Mufti Dr. Malek Al Chaar, Bishop Ifram Kiriakos, Pastor Souheil Saaoud, and many other lecturers and experts in the matter. Divided in three sessions of one hour each, the panel discussion animated the audience at the end of each period and finished with a dinner offered in honour of the distinguished speakers and their guests.(Arabic Version PDF)
