Every year NDU provides visitors from the general public with an opportunity to know about what NDU offers and what makes it unique by allowing them to spend the day at NDU-NLC campus. This year, Open House Day at NDU-NLC took place on Wednesday, April 13, 2011. Around six hundred and fifty high school students from eleven different schools (David Karam Educational Center, Khalil Salem Official School, Evangelical School, College des Frères, Filles de la Charite, National Orthodox School- St. Elie, Bkeftien Orthodox School, National Orthodox School, St. Joseph des Peres Capucins, Lycee St. Pierre Orthodoxe, Balamand Secondary School, and North Lebanon College) in North Lebanon took advantage of this unique event. Clubs at the University put on various activities, and there were also pedal cars and thunderous music. Each faculty had its own representatives giving explanations, but they all had one main goal, which was to introduce NDU-NLC’s various faculties and majors to prospective students. The latter were taken on a tour on the campus, met the faculty and staff, and interacted with NLC current students. The students also toured different sites such as the art facilities, computer centre, laboratories, and library. Moreover, they saw interesting exhibits and demonstrations. NLC professors, administrators, and students devoted their time and effort to make this event exceptional.
