In his first meeting with the students at NLC, Father Samir Ghsoub pointed out the importance of such reunions in exchanging ideas for the best interest of both students and administration. Several issues were discussed: the new gymnasium (under construction), the pass way, the printings with a special price, keeping the University clean, maintaining if possible a non smoking University, opening a civil engineer branch.

The Director also showed his interest and care for NLC: asphalting the parking, starting the construction of the polyvalent gymnasium, changing the offices’ furniture, upgrading the system to a Wi-Fi facility to all. Outstanding seminars like the latest “Dialogue of Civilizations” fostered the image of NDU with its environment and gave a plus value to the students’ culture.

The students, satisfied with the meeting asked about the concentration of the course offering in some specific days and time and inquired about the possibility of a better distribution of the classes.

The meeting was adjourned at 13:00, setting up the next one in February.
