The Faculty of Humanities invites you to submit a proposal to present at the 2009 Conference on Language and the Media which will be attended by journalists,  media experts, writers and educators interested in the role of language in promoting responsible, high quality expression in the media.

We invite original papers on a broad range of topics, including, but not limited to:

    Cultural Role of Media in a Globalized World
  • Literature and the Press
    Link between Classical Arabic and Journalism
    Role of literature in today’s press

Papers may be written in English, Arabic or French.  Presentations may be given in English, Arabic, or French.

Presentations:  15-20 minutes
