The Alumni Affairs Office at Notre Dame University Lebanon- Louaize (NDU) held on Wednesday, May 17, 2017, in Issam Fares Conference Hall, at 2:30 p.m., NDU main campus, its annual event titled, “Celebrating Your Next Step 2017.”

This event gave graduates the opportunity to meet with NDU President Fr. Walid Moussa who advised students on how best to benefit from the high quality education they received at NDU and how to venture out into the world, build their future, and always be proud of their alma mater.

During the ceremony, Acting Director of Alumni Affairs Office Joyce Ghosain said, “A few weeks separate you from graduation. I know the challenges are many, but NDU gave you knowledge and a quality of education, teachers, and friends. NDU is and will always by your side, anytime and anywhere.”

For his part, NDU President Fr. Walid Moussa said, “NDU is imprinted in each and every one of you. Your degree is like an investment in a stock market, as NDU’s value increases, so does the value of your investment.  By working hand in hand, the value of your investment will always remain high.”

Three students in turn talked about their experience at NDU and how the University helped them become better versions of themselves through its academic curriculum and through the social life on campus. One of the students, Alina Beaini said, “NDU focuses on instilling in its students a well-rounded personality by immersing them in multiple events and seminars. This allows us to learn from experts and shine with our own talents.”

During the ceremony, students addressed the president and discussed with him their concerns regarding their academic and private lives.
