Pursuant to Ministerial Decision No. 930 dated 4/5/2016, issued by the Minister of Interior and Municipalities Nouhad Machnouk, concerning the formation of a provisional committee for Notre Dame University-Louaize (NDU) Alumni Association, whose mandate ends on 31/12/2016, therefore, a call to conduct elections was issued on 15/12/2016 to form a new committee with the provision that eligible candidates continue to be accepted until 8/12/2016.
Given that nine candidates have maintained their candidacy for seats in the Alumni Association committee; the nine being:
Cesar Rechdan, Tony Cid, Nicole Bardawil, Elie Nasr, Dani Azzi, Ali Darwish, Mario Bou Ghosn, Peter Tawk, and Jad Ghanem, hence, those afore-mentioned candidates are considered by acclamation to have been elected; accordingly, there no longer exists a need to conduct elections on the above-mentioned date.
NDU congratulates the new Committee, and wishes its members every success in their future endeavors.
