INTERNATIONAL PRICE MOOT COURT IN MEDIA LAW

INTERNATIONAL PRICE MOOT COURT IN MEDIA LAW

The University of Oxford, Law School, holds annually an International Competition in Media Law under the theme: “Oxford International Price Moot Court in Media Law”, dividing the world into regions including the Middle East. The Competition’s Regional Office is in Cairo.

 

The Department of Law, FLPS, took part in this competition from January 30th till February 2nd, 2017, won in the Regional Round and will be participating with two Egyptian teams in the final competition at Oxford University that will take place from the 3rd to the 8th of April 2017 against 50 universities from all over the world.

 

The team traveled to Cairo with the Dean of the Faculty of Law and Political Science Dr. Maan Bou Saber. The student team encompassed: Ghady Hattouni, Lynn Zoghby, Stephany Badawi and Remy Hanna. Many thanks to Dr. Yara Mansour, the coach and Professor of Common Law in our faculty who gave 40- hour free training to our students.
