NDUER SHORTLISTED IN THE “BEST HUNDRED ARABIC POSTERS” COMPETITION

#NDUer George Deeb has been shortlisted in the online-based “Best Hundred Arabic Posters” competition, which is part of the GDP321 Visual Communication course lectured by Assistant Professor at NDU Dr. Tarek Khoury.

The poster design competition documents the Arab world’s visual culture by selecting and highlighting the region’s most creative Arabic posters. Winners are featured in the competition catalog and honored by having their work showcased in a traveling exhibition that initially begins in Cairo and continues to other major Arab cities.

Deeb has been shortlisted among the 100 finalists out of 15,000 hopefuls who participated from around the world. This event is scheduled to take place later this fall at the German University in Cairo (GUC) in its Faculty of Applied Sciences and Arts.

The experience teaches students that although the university environment can at times be overwhelming and intimidating; there exist unlimited resources and opportunities to help them benefit from their higher learning journey.
