Notre Dame University-Louaize (NDU) Radio, TV and Film undergraduate Daniel Seif was selected to participate as a young juror in the prestigious Ajyal Youth Film Festival in Doha, Qatar, which took place from November 28, 2016, to December 6, 2016.
He says of his involvement, “Meeting Ely Feghali, a fellow Lebanese and the Short Film Palme d'Or winner, and asking him about his experience was for me inspirational and motivational. What’s more, the Doha Film Institute chose me to meet Meg Ryan, one of my favorite actors, for a gratifying dessert where I asked her to tell me more about the key success factors.”
He sums up, “Someday I hope to organize similar international festivals and to give young and ambitious filmmakers the same opportunity I had.”
