The Faculty of Business Administration and Economics (FBAE) at Notre Dame University-Louaize Shouf Campus (NDU-SC), organized on Thursday, November 9, 2017, a seminar on entrepreneurship and innovation titled, “Entrepreneurship & Innovation: Think out Loud!”
Guest speaker Shadi Banna, founder and CEO at Potential.com, delivered an interactive session attended by students and faculty members from different Faculties at NDU.
Sharing with the audience his valuable experience, Banna narrated his entrepreneurial journey by shedding light on the challenges facing an entrepreneur. He started his formal presentation by introducing the concept of innovation and its crucial impact on entrepreneurship. He discussed the difficulties along the path of turning an innovation into a successful venture and enterprise.
Identifying the need or the problem is a crucial step in the innovation journey. Banna stressed the importance of properly relying on online resources to identify and properly execute innovative ideas. He also emphasized the importance of perseverance in securing success. Finally, he enriched the audience’s knowledge by imparting many useful and practical tips on how to start a business and be innovative.
In his closing statement, Banna expressed his gratitude and appreciation for being invited to the SC. He was kind enough to offer students free online bundle of courses related to their area of specialization. As a gesture of gratitude for delivering an interesting seminar, representatives of the SC administration awarded Banna a ‘Certificate of Appreciation.’
