The young Assistant Professor, Dr. Patricia Eid, in the Faculty of Humanities, Department of Psychology, Education and Physical Education at Notre Dame University-Louaize was contacted by the journalist Roula Azar Douglas, who is in charge of academic news in the weekly page “L’orient des campus”, to shed the light on the research team initiative that was launched by Dr. Eid at NDU.

This initiative provides NDU students majoring in psychology with the opportunity to work in a team and learn from each other, but above all to contribute to the process of knowledge acquisition and put in practice the theoretical concepts learned in class. It also gives them the opportunity to participate in the research process and share the results at local conferences, and helps them improve their applications to graduate programs abroad.

Dr. Eid is currently working on the topic of “Intimate Partner Violence” in order to try to understand the psychological and cultural factors that predict acceptance of violence in couples, specifically in Lebanon.

All further updates will be shared via NDU’s various communication channels.

Dr. Eid, you’ve made NDU proud!
