“Because no one has ever become poor by giving,” as Anne Frank once famously said, the Department of Community Service and Awareness at Notre Dame University-Louaize (NDU) took part in the annual event "From Home to Home," which was held between October 7 and 8, 2016, at the Forum de Beirut, where the clothes and shoes that members of the NDU community had donated were sorted and packed to be later distributed to needy families.
Prior to the event, NDU held campaigns to introduce this topic to people in order to get as much donations as possible and to recruit as many volunteers as possible. The result was outstanding, as we succeeded in getting a high amount of donations and an amazing and active group of volunteers.
