The Student Union and the Department of Community Service & Awareness (CSA) at NDU have collected donations for Jose, the two-year-old Lebanese boy diagnosed with Severe Combined Immune Deficiency (SCID), to cover the sizeable cost of the operation in the U.S. The Student Union organized a sweepstake to collect donations for Jose and was able to collect the amount of $6,738. His close family members joined us at NDU’s Christmas Fiesta to thank NDU for their support. We hope that our contribution will help in saving Jose’s life.
