A NEW MINOR IN FOOD SAFETY AND QUALITY MANAGEMENT

The Minor in Food Safety and Quality Management (FSQM) offered by the Faculty of Nursing and Health Sciences at NDU, provides a solid foundation in FSQM and supervised trainings to ensure that students will become highly competent and qualified food safety and quality professionals.

 

The program aims to provide prospective students with the knowledge and skills needed to understand food hazards and their potential risks, their sources, risk analysis and management processes and strategies used to assure the quality and safety of food products.

 

NDU students majoring in Biology, Chemistry, Nursing or Medical Lab Technology or Nutrition and Hotel Management students can benefit from the minor and increase the knowledge in food products quality and safety.
