NDU STUDENTS PARTICIPATE IN THE INNOVATIVE DESIGN SIMULATION CHALLENGE

 NDU STUDENTS PARTICIPATE IN THE INNOVATIVE DESIGN SIMULATION CHALLENGE

Elie Najem, Jad Yazbeck and Ziad Rizk, a team of three Mechanical Engineering students at NDU applied to the Innovative Design Simulation Challenge (IDSC) organized by American Society for Mechanical Engineers (ASME) under the supervision of Dr. Chady Ghnatios, and were chosen between nine finalists to attend the prestigious IDETC/CIE/AM3D Conference from August 21, 2016 till August 24, 2016 that will be held in Charoltte, North Carolina, USA.

 

The ASME Innovative Design Simulation Challenge (IDSC) is designed to give mechanical engineering undergraduates around the world an opportunity to reveal their skills in developing simulation frameworks and environments.
The finalists will present their design “Automated Parking: The Paternoster” to a panel of judges at the 2016 ASME IDSC.
