Jessica Khoury is a Sydney based film festival director, film producer, writer and entrepreneur. Jessica studied at the University of New South Wales and in 2013 she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree majoring in Film Studies and Theatre and Performance Studies. She spent much of her time working onset of some of Australia’s most notable film and television productions. In 2017 Jessica was elected as Treasurer on the Executive Committee of Women in Film and Television Australia. In 2011, at the age of 19, Jessica founded the Lebanese Film Festival based in Sydney, Australia. She spends time travelling to the Lebanon and Europe as a development executive and emerging producer in film, TV and film festivals. She founded her company JK Film and Festival Consultancy in 2016, focusing on everything from pre-production to post production, festivals and distribution in Australia and worldwide. Jessica has a profound passion for arts and culture, with a particular focus on national cinema and foreign film. She has generated partnerships with international film festivals from all around the world and has a profound appetite for filmmaking and cinema studies. She has numerous projects and business endeavors in the works, Jessica interweaves her love for Australia, Lebanon and the arts in the fabric of her lifelong goals and passion.
