Dr. Nadim Nassif
Dr. Nadim Nassif is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Humanities’ (FH) Department of Psychology, Education, and Physical Education at Notre Dame University-Louaize (NDU), Lebanon.
He serves as the academic advisor for the Physical Education and Sports major and has previously managed the NDU FIFA/International Centre for Sports Studies (CIES) Sports Management program. Nassif’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education from the University of Balamand, Lebanon, the FIFA/CIES Master in Sports Management from the University of Neuchâtel, Switzerland, a Master of Arts in Sport History from De Montfort University, UK, and a Doctorate in Sport Sociology from Grenoble-Alpes University, France.
Nassif is actively involved in various coaching roles. He has coached both the Lebanese Futsal and the Lebanese Mixed Martial Arts national teams. He also contributes his expertise as a consultant for the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF). In 2023, he was appointed Ambassador of Physical Education by the International Federation of Physical Education and Sports (FIEPS).
Throughout his career, Nassif has enriched his knowledge and skills in the field of sports through multiple avenues, including competing as an athlete, instructing university students, coaching athletes, participating in conferences and workshops, and providing consultation services to several national and international sports federations. His research interests predominantly revolve around sport history, coaching, and sport management, with a primary focus on the subject of sport governance.
