Mechanical Engineering is a traditional field constantly evolving towards new concepts
and optimized solutions to existing problems.
The “International Conference on Advanced Research and Applications in Mechanical Engineering” (ICARAME’11) aims at bringing together researchers and engineers from both academia and industry to share their latest findings related to the various fields of mechanical engineering.
ICARAME’11 is a joint activity of Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan, USA,
and Notre Dame University – Louaize, Lebanon, to take place from the 13th to the 15th of June, 2011, in the northern suburb of Beirut, a lovely place ranked in the top 10 list of sites to visit in 2010 by Lonely Planet.

May 16, 2011: The final program of the conference is online under "Technical Program".

May 03, 2011: Registration is open to potential attendees at the normal conference rate. Please check the registration page for more information or contact the organizers at the conference e-mail below.

March 29, 2011: Acceptance/Rejection decisions sent by e-mail and available online on the conference portal site.

March 1, 2011: The manuscripts are being reviewed and the results are expected within two weeks. Thank you for your contribution.

The deadline to submit manuscripts for review has been extended to January 31, 2011.
Discussions with an international publishing house are underway (to publish the proceedings as an edited volume).
