The theme chosen for this year was “The Lebanese
Cinema Pays Tribute to the Lebanese Theater”, honoring
Lebanese theater icon, Director Raymond Gebara. The
program aimed to encourage students to investigate
their talents in filmmaking, scriptwriting, acting and
improvisation, through themed organized workshops:
The art of the interview in everyday documentation with
director and cinematographer Alex Rotaru, Independent
film production with director Alejandro Padilla Gonzales,
Sound engineering skills with Middle East Audio Suites,
and contemporary dance with Aleksandra Bjelajac
and Ognjen Beader, proving how creativity has no
boundaries on scene and on screen.
