Department of Mechanical Engineering

The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Notre Dame University-Louaize (NDU) invites applications for two faculty positions at the Assistant Professor level in the areas of Thermal/Fluid Sciences and Manufacturing & CAD/CAM.

Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent. They must demonstrate a potential for excellence in teaching and must have a strong commitment to undergraduate education. They are also expected to conduct research and publish in their field of specialization, as well as to participate in services to the community. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications.

NDU (http://www.ndu.edu.lb) is a private catholic university located in Zouk-Mosbeh (Lebanon) on a hill overlooking the city of Beirut. The number of students is over 6,000 students. The Department of Mechanical Engineering grants the degree of Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering and is committed to excellence in undergraduate teaching, research, and services to both NDU and local communities.

Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering

The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Notre Dame University, Lebanon is seeking applicants for positions at the Assistant Professor level. Ph.D. and research interest in any of the fields of Transportation, Structural, Materials, Project Management, Environmental Engineering or related fields are required.

Teaching experience, P.E. and industrial experience are desirable.
