Program Set-up

Each program is made up of a number of courses, ranging between eight and ten courses. These courses are offered over a period of 2 months. The duration of non language courses is 30 hours, while the duration of English language courses is 64 hours.

Certificates
Upon successfully completing all the requirements of a specific program, the DCE offers a certificate. This certificate will be recognized and approved by the Office of Higher Education at the Ministry of Education if the candidate has passed the Lebanese Baccalaureate II or its equivalence.

Admission Requirements
Applicants must complete an application form with a photocopy of the Identity Card or passport, one recent passport-size photo, and a non-refundable fee as determined in tuition and fees.

English Proficiency Requirements
An English Placement Test (EPT) will determine a studentís eligibility to register in any of the programs offered at the DCE. A minimum requirement for registration is Upper Intermediate. Otherwise, students must complete the necessary English courses to be eligible for registration.

Attendance Policy
Students should attend all classes on time. A pattern of absences, whether authorized or not, may affect a studentís grade substantially.

Drop & Refund Policy
Dropping any course is refunded within the first week of the session; otherwise, no refund is allowed. Students cannot drop any course before the approval of the Administration.
