Location & Climate
   
The Division of Continuing Education (Notre Dame University - Louaize Old campus) is located in Zouk Mosbeh, a coastal area 15 km north of Beirut. At an altitude of 100 m, the campus overlooks the beautiful bay of Jounieh. It affords easy access to the economic and social life of a growing urban area. Theaters, elegant shops, coastal resorts, all lie within a short driving distance from the University. Also accessible are the Ouyoun As Siman and Fakra winter tourist areas. The climate of Zouk Mosbeh is moderately cold from December to March and moderately hot from June to September.
The Fall and Spring seasons are usually sunny and cool. On the average, there are 300 days of sunshine each year, a fact which allows for a variety of outdoor activities.
