This course provides an overview of Sociology as a secular discipline that explores social, religious, political, and economic issues in terms of social institutions, social forces, and group interactions. By so doing, this course explores different structures and combinations of social forces that influence the individual’s social behavior, and render him better qualified to become an active citizen of the world. Prerequisite: ENL 213.
