Health Care Internship Program - HCM 408

This course is required of all students in the Health Care Management Program. The course is designed to give students first hand experience in a health care setting. Students receive practical experience under the supervision of a qualified professional. In collaboration with the preceptor, students define a complex problem in the assigned firm/facility and in the area of responsibility, conduct an analysis of the problem and conceptualize a project to resolve the problem. In addition, upon completion of the course students should have the tools to effectively search for their first job. Prerequisites: HCM 301, HCM 302.
