Sustainable Architecture - MAR 631
The course offers a general review of
the impact exerted by the built environment
on the natural environment in terms of
consumption of natural resources and disposal
of waste. It then presents the concepts and
principles of sustainable development and
sustainability as a paradigm shift. This will be
explored holistically by analyzing the three
dimensions of sustainability in the field of
Architecture: the environmental, the social,
and the economic.
