Commercial Law IV: Bankruptcy - LAW 404

This course endeavors to provide students with an understanding of the bankruptcy laws, including the Law of Corporate Reorganization. Topics include:
- The procedure and the judgment of bankruptcy;
- The appointment of the liquidator;
- The period of suspicion;
- The concordat and preventive, rights of creditors in bankruptcy;
- The individual’s right to discharge;
- The treatment of executory contracts and bankruptcy planning; and
- The procedure of “to be put into receivership.”

Language of Instruction: Arabic (legal terms, however, are also given in English and French).
