  Dr. Camilla van Deurs
Partner at Gehl Architects, Architect MAA, PhD, External Professor at University of Copenhagen, Board member at the Danish Architectural Association
As a Head of Team, Camilla works with her team to develop Public Space and Street Designs, Masterplanning Frameworks and Pilot Projects. Camilla has worked with both public and private clients in Europe, USA, Australia, Middle East and China at both a strategic and design level. Camilla holds a PhD in Urban Design with a focus on urban housing and is an active lecturer on the Gehl methodology, speaking at conferences around the world. She is also an Associate Professor at the University of Copenhagen, as well as a Board Member for the Danish Architects Association.
 
  Prof. Andreas Uebele
Founder of Büro Uebele, Professor for communications design at Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences
Andreas Uebele born in 1960, studied architecture and urban planning at the university of Stuttgart, and art at the Stuttgart state academy of art and design. In 1996, he founded his own visual communications agency in Stuttgart, and since 1998 has been a professor for communications design at Düsseldorf University of applied sciences. In the same year he became a member of Forum Typografie. Andreas Uebele has been a member of the type directors club of New York and of the art directors club of New York since 2002. Since 2007 he has been a member of AGI, Alliance Graphique Internationale, and since 2009 a member of the bdg, the association of german communication designers. Büro Uebele’s work is represented in DHUB Disseny Hub Barcelona, Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, the Chicago Athenaeum, the Museum of Modern Art Toyama and the Museion – Museum für Moderne und Zeitgenössische Kunst Bozen (Photo by Jim Rakete).

     
  Prof. Paola Somma
Independent scholar, former Professor of Urban Planning, University of Venice, Italy
Architect and planner, Paola Somma has taught urban planning and design at the University of Venice, Italy (1980-2000). She has been visiting professor at the American University of Beirut (1998-1999). After retirement from the University she is an independent consultant active in scholarly work. She is a member of the Board of Editors of the Journal Open House International. Among her publications are:  At War with the City, Urban International Press. 2004; Beirut, Guerre di Quartiere e Globalizzazione, L’Harmattan Italia, 2000; Spazio e Razzismo, Angeli, 1991.
