Since commencement is a special event for all involved, it is imperative for NDU graduates to realize that it is a formal ceremony to be conducted with dignity and respectability. Graduating students are expected to celebrate their accomplishments in a way that recognizes the importance of being courteous to fellow graduates, guests, to the guest speaker and in such a way not to disrupt the ceremony.
