In The Days Before the Commencement  
Cap and Gown

The commencement ceremony recognizes the academic achievements of the graduate and is considered a formal academic ceremony that should be viewed as such in dress and behavior. All graduating students participating in the Commencement must be wearing a gown, cap and tassel. Students are asked to wear clothing appropriate for the event and the weather under the gowns. A black skirt or pant and a white shirt are recommended for female graduates and a black pant, a white shirt and a necktie are recommended for male graduates. Caps and Gowns are provided by NDU. Candidates for graduation should pick up their caps and gowns at:
Dates for reservation:
For Summer & Fall 2008 graduates:
Friday June 26, 2009 between 8:00am – 4:00pm

For Spring 2009 graduates only:
Friday, July 3, 2009 between 8:00am – 2:00pm

Location:
Student Affairs Office-Tunnel entrance (Administration Building Side).

Dates for Returning:
Monday, August 3, 2009 & Tuesday, August 4, 2009
between 8:00am – 2:00pm

After this date, there will be penalty of $25.
