a message from the director of finance

"Tell me and I’ll forget; show me and I may remember; involve me and I’ll understand' (Chinese proverb)
For the past three years I have been involved in the student’s academic life, activities and sometimes in their personal problems, I have learned and come to understand their concerns and views.
Now, as Director of Finance I deal with numbers and money; I have a budget to watch over as well as human concerns and problems to care for.
Student’s goal is to earn a degree so they can be experts in their field of study and excel in their careers; our mission is to help them in attaining their aim.
Money is a tool to achieve education; I can assure you that my main concern is to let money be only the means to achieve this goal; it should not be and will never be an objective or goal to attain.
Money will never be a source of submissiveness and humiliation; human dignity is my concern.
You are human beings whom we serve and care for; our mission, as NDU community, is to serve you by respecting and valuing your identity and human rights so that you in turn may serve and preserve your land.
Finally, as Derek Bok said: “If you think education is expensive try ignorance”
