RM-G410 Introduction to Inferential Statistics
Survey of basic statistical methods including descriptive statistics, z and t test of means and proportions, chi-square analyses, correlation and regression analyses. Intended as a terminal course for upper division undergraduates and as a background course for graduate level courses in the program.
RM G520 General Research Methods
Prerequisite: REMET 410 or an equivalent introductory inferential statistics course. Survey of the techniques, methods and tools of research in the behavioral sciences and social sciences. General discussion of the research process followed by examination of several different study designs such as observational, experimental, descriptive and sample survey. Overview of different methods of data collection and analysis frequently used in research literature.

EDR-A540 Qualitative Research
Students will learn the qualitative research paradigm, data collection and analysis techniques and report writing. Students will be provided with the skills need to conduct qualitative research in their area of interest. An additional goal is to provide students with reference materials that will be useful to them in their future work.
EDR-A593 Advanced Qualitative Research
Students will apply the principles of EDR-A540 to an area of particular interest to their field of study.
