N.B. Credits acquired in the SAP sessions are transferable.

Courses and Credits
Students are provisionally placed in one or more of the following courses: Preliminary Arabic, Preparatory Arabic, Intermediate Arabic and Advanced Arabic. Final placement occurs during the first week of the program. SAP class sizes range from five to fifteen students.

SAP intensive courses enable students to achieve optimal fluency within a relatively short period. While classroom instructors teach language through presentations, drills, and activities, the tutorial sessions deal with each student's individual needs. Requirements for each course include daily quizzes, weekly tests, and one final exam.

Three credits per course are awarded upon successful completion of the full six-week program. No credit is granted to students who do not complete the full course program and who do not pass.
