Doris Jaalouk is currently an Associate Professor and chairperson of the Department of Nursing & Health Sciences at the Faculty of Nursing & Health Sciences at NDU. Her areas of research interest include mental health, child health and development, non-communicable chronic diseases particularly cardiovascular diseases. Dr. Jaalouk first joined the Department of Sciences at the Faculty of Natural & Applied Sciences, in view of her doctoral studies in cell biology. She taught multiple undergraduate biology courses for majors including cell biology and human physiology, besides her appointment as chairperson of the department during 2001-2004.
