After graduating from AUB in 1994 with an MPH degree in Epidemiology and Biostatistics, Theresa Hajjar-Muça held the position of Research Assistant at the Family Medicine Department, American University of Beirut – Medical Center for six years. During these years T. Hajjar was involved in many research projects concerning different diseases including multiple sclerosis, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, Hodgkin’s disease, asthma, mental health, drug addiction etc…. In addition to the full-time position at AUB-MC, T. Hajjar- Muça was interested in teaching so she joined Makassed Hospital - General College of Nursing in 1998 as a part-timer teaching Epidemiology and Biostatistics courses. In the year 2000, she joined the Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences – Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Notre Dame University, Louaize as a full-time lecturer of statistics and biostatistics courses. T. Hajjar – Muça is interested in the public health field and is collaborating with colleagues at the faulty were she is currently employed on different research projects.
