Aline Hosry received her B.Sc. in Mathematics from the Lebanese University in 2006. She pursued her graduate studies at the University of Missouri, U.S.A., where she earned both her M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in Mathematics, in 2008 and 2011 respectively. Her research interests lie within the area of Commutative Algebra, and more specifically, the Briançon-Skoda theorems, the theories of tight closure, integral closure, and symbolic powers of ideals. Dr. Hosry held the Mathematics Distinguished Teaching Award for the years 2008-2009 and 2010-2011 from the Department of Mathematics at the University of Missouri. She joined the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, FNAS, at Notre Dame University-Louaize in Fall 2011.
