
Dr. Mansour Eid was born in Btideen Al Loukosh – District of Jezzine – South Lebanon in 1944. He attended high school in Our Lady of Mashmoushe School. Holder of a B.A. in Philosophy and Social Studies from the Arab University of Beirut, and a B.A. in Arabic Language and Literature from the Lebanese University. In 1985, he received his Doctorate. in Arab Literature from Saint Joseph University. He taught Arabic and Philosophy as of 1965 in a number of schools. He is currently the Chairperson of the Social and Behavioral Sciences Department at Notre Dame University and instructor of Arabic language at NDU. An Author, novelist, researcher and poet with more than 20 published books and short stories.
