Anyone who knows Christine Sabieh through her teaching, keynote conference addresses, workshops, thesis-advising, research, advisory school-board chairing contributions – especially for US accreditation purposes, and/or administrative leadership posts in the five main English-speaking universities in Lebanon, knows she is interested in Educational Technology and Educational Psychology where she primarily explores avenues to marry these two interests. Christine, an American who has lived for the most part of her life in Lebanon, is fortunate to keep up her nature of inquiry as she is, at present, both the President of ASIACALL – the Asia Association of Computer-Assisted-Learning, and the President of the Lebanese Psychological Association. Being an advocate/practitioner of CAL and a Certified On-Line Instructor/Trainer, she has been the first at NDU to design and offer an online MA Education course. This, she has done twice, bringing about her current research query to measure the effectiveness of online learning and performance. Overall, her research interest’s fall into six broad areas, where she finds joy using triangulation, to delve and make connections: these are Technology, Educational Psychology, Civ-Education, Identity and Ethics, Stress & its Consequences, and Developmental Psychology, especially Learning Disabilities.
